WHAT DOES MWRD EMPLOYEES CREDIT UNION DO WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

  • For our affiliates’ everyday business purposes - Information about your creditworthiness 
  • For our affiliates to market to you 
  • For non-affiliates to market to you

How does MWRD Employees Credit Union protect my personal information?

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings.

How does MWRD Employees Credit Union collect my personal information?

We collect your personal information, for example, when you  Open an account or deposit money  Account information or apply for a loan club Use your credit or debit card We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus.

Why can’t I limit all sharing?

Federal law gives you the right to limit only:

  • Sharing for affiliates’ everyday business purposes-information about your creditworthiness
  • Affiliates from using your information to market to you
  • Sharing for non-affiliates to market to you

State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We will post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we treat our members’ personal information, we will notify you through a notice on our website and/or through the last known address we have on file for you. You are responsible for ensuring we have up-to-date active and deliverable street and email addresses for you, and for periodically visiting our website and our privacy policy to check for any changes.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
